i-Xperience, a game with which you can explore the city at your own pace, has arrived in Malaga.
i-Xperience Malaga is the best way to explore the city while you learn, play and have fun using a mobile device as your only tool. Explore the city at your own pace, in complete safety, alone, as a couple or with your family and benefit from discounts and exclusive offers at various places in the city.
What will you discover?
You can discover the city, its history, its art, its gastronomy and its genuine corners. In addition to the information, adventure and culture part, you can enjoy a unique element of fun thanks to our quizzes (various questions), mini-games (“find the pairs”, hangman, puzzles, etc.) and various challenges (take photos and videos, interact with local people, etc.).
Who is it for?
The experience is ideal for both travellers and tourists as well as locals wanting to discover their city in a fun and original way. It is an ideal experience for all ages, but it should be noted that those who want to explore every corner of the city and get the most out of the experience will have to walk quite a bit. In terms of age, children can participate without any problems (ideally from 10 years old), as long as they are accompanied by at least one adult.
How many people can use the licence?
Each i-Xperience Malaga licence is valid for one mobile device (smartphone or tablet using IOS or Android).
You can enjoy this experience alone, as a couple, or as a family/group. If you are playing alone and you have headphones, take them with you, they will be comfortable to listen to our avatars. If not, just turn up the volume and enjoy!
If you are more than 3 people, we recommend taking advantage of our family packs with 2 or 3 licenses at a special price and enjoy it together but each couple/group with their own mobile device, to get the best out of the experience (and compete to see who ends up with the most points).
What are POIs and map icons?
Points Of Interest (POI) are specific places that appear on the interactive map of the App. They are divided into 4 categories, each represented by a corresponding icon:

Etiqueta Roja de DescuentoEach icon (POI) of i-Xperience Malaga will indicate a place with a curiosity or a special feature of the city that you will love to explore to discover the soul of the city. Some icons include a red discount label, indicating that this POI will offer you, if you wish, a discount or a special offer (a “two for one”, a percentage discount on the drink, a free drink…).
You are free to decide the itinerary you wish to follow, according to your own tastes, your curiosity and the time you have available. You will be able to go to the POIs of your choice whenever you want. Every time you reach one, an Avatar will automatically pop up on your mobile phone explaining in a few words where you are and what is remarkable about that point. Every time you reach a POI, automatically and by geolocation, an Avatar will pop up on your mobile phone explaining in a few words where you are and what is remarkable about that point. If you want to know more, you will find a text with more information just below. After the text, we will propose you a game, a challenge or a question related to that place. You will see what a fun experience you will live with i-Xperience Malaga! Don’t worry, it’s OK to fail. Once you’ve finished, go to the next Point of Interest!
When you have visited all the POIs or decide to finish the experience, we will inform you of your score, which you can compare on our website with the best results of the month.
