Getting to Gibraltar from Malaga is very easy if you have your own car. The journey takes about an hour and a half, so we recommend renting a car. However, the best way to enter the Rock of Gibraltar is on foot, as the border crossing can be hell on some days. There is a car park in La Línea de la Concepción if you can’t find free street parking.

Once in the Rock, you can stroll along Main Street, the heart of the town, a street full of shops and boutiques where you can enjoy a day’s shopping. At all times you will feel like you are visiting the UK itself, a unique experience in the south of Spain.

And we’re not going to finish without talking about its viewpoint and its famous monkeys. On the rock you’ll find incredible views of Africa (on clear days) by taking a cable car up to the lookout point. At the top you will meet the Gibraltar macaques, without a doubt the kings of this place.
